1. Hello! Thank you for taking the time to chat to us. First things first, tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started.

Greetings! Thank you so much for having us! Sinsation was formed in 2019 at The Zombie Prom in California. It made sense to be vampires coming from such an event. Our first single was Sleeping Death and it got a great response. It landed us a deal with AMG/Kingside Records and after some videos, singles, an EP and some member changes we landed a deal with Sodeh Records and ended up with an incredible team.

2. Someone comes to you and asks you to sum up what kind of music you play – what do you tell them?

It’s Vampower Metal. We are vampires that play dark, melodic anthems.

3. What’s currently going on in your camp? New releases? Tours? Etc.

We are taking a little break from shows to concentrate on our new single Sinsation Nation. The video is also being released as well. Next we have a very ambitious video for a single called Zombie Nightmare. Think Zombies versus Vampires…Who will win? Then another single called Only The Strong Survive all released on Sodeh Records. We will be back to shows and festivals in late June/July.

4. What has been the most positive experience of making music to date for you?

The scene in California and all our labelmates all over the world. Having a community of badass musicians and entertainers is so empowering, it makes us feel like we are a part of something special, something huge.

5. Likewise, what has been some of the more challenging aspects and how have you overcome them?

Towards the beginning it was getting the right shows, but through tenacity and showing up on time, supporting other bands. Also just being nice goes a long way.

6. How do you handle the modern expectations of being in a band? Always online, having to put out content constantly, your success measured in likes and follows?

We have been really fortunate in this way, Sammy stays on top of it and keeps our socials strong and consistent. Also Sodeh Records kicks ass in this area. We have amazing endorsements that put a lot of faith in us, so that gives us a lot of motivation. Our advice is just to have fun with it and be creative and authentic and the likes/follows with come.

7. Speaking directly to listeners – what would you ask they do to help support your music?

Well said. Definitely listening to our music, watching our Youtube videos and commenting helps alot. Just engaging with us online would be incredible. Also buying merch helps fund future shows, videos, and albums. Thank you so much for your support.

8. Outside of the music, what’s do you do to relax?

When we are not bloody vampires shredding metal we surf, paddleboard, freedive, go to tons of shows. Even do some sailing. We are just big California kids having the time of our lives.

9. Where can people find you?
