A late 80’s underwater horror movie? No, it’s not The Abyss or Deepstar Six or Leviathan or the many others that came out around this period. You’ll wish it was though as The Evil Below is as shallow and tepid as a child’s paddling pool.
One of those rare 80’s horrors, finding a quality copy of Blood Nasty is near impossible. You’re likely going to have to settle for a poor VHS rip. Which really doesn’t help when the movie is already ultra-low-budget.
A shot-on-video (SOV) comedy horror, Disgusting Spaceworms Eat Everyone is a bad movie. Not a ‘so bad it’s good movie’, although it does have its moments. The thing is, for all its crapness, it really should be seen because it’s just so damn wacky.

Directed by William A. Levey and starring Ron Palillo, Abigail Wolcott and Carel Trichardt, Hellgate is nonsense, utter nonsense. It has a horribly confused plot and an utterly insane final third. Normally this might make the movie entertaining but that’s not the case with Hellgate.
Parents is a horror/comedy that follows 10 year old Michael. He’s just moved with his parents Nick and Lily from Massachusetts to a new neighbourhood in 1958 suburbia. Michael is socially awkward and has strange dreams due to his overly active imagination. He begins to suspect that his parents may be cannibalistic killers.
The Chilling is a 1989 sort of zombie horror directed by the Deland Nuse and Jack A. Sunseri, the latter of who also wrote the screenplay. It stars Linda Blair, Dan Haggerty and Troy Donahue.
A psychological horror/thriller directed by Umberto Lenzi. Hitcher in the Dark stars Joe Balogh as Mark Glazer. A very disturbed young man who picks up female hitchhikers to fulfil his twisted desires.
