Welcome back to my top 20 favourite announcements of E3 2018. This time around, I’ll be looking back at the 10 unveilings that I consider to be the most exciting of all of those shown at the conferences. This wasn’t an easy task but that’s a really good thing, let’s have a look.
Super Night Riders is a retro-inspired (think Hang On), straight-forward arcade bike racer. Not conventional races, instead it’s all about racing against the clock to pass checkpoints. There is not a lot of content or options but it has plenty of the fun factor thanks to the eye-catching visuals and simple controls.
Subaeria is a top down action/puzzle game by Montreal independent developer, iLLOGIKA. The game is out now on Steam, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

It’s a joy to witness all of the new gaming experiences being unveiled on the big stage. With just a couple of weeks to go, let’s have a look at some potential announcements.
Armikrog is a stop-motion, clay animation, point-and-click adventure comedy game. Those familiar with the classic Earthworm Jim games will feel at home here seeing as the game was developed by those involved.
Originally released as a three-part episodic game on Steam, Decay: The Mare saw its release on Xbox One offer up all three episodes as part of a complete experience. Set in the darkly oppressive & mysterious Reaching Dreams Rehabilitation Centre, the game puts you in the shoes of Sam, a recovering drug addict.
The Town of Light is a psychological horror/walking simulator developed by LKA. The game is set in a psychiatric hospital in Tuscany, Italy called Ospedale Psichiatrico di Volterra.
