Yet another entry in the Amityville franchise that is just another ‘loose’ entry. Amityville Island is a no-budget stinker that takes the Amityville name and slaps it on the front with almost no links to the original story or franchise as a whole.

After having suffered through so many terrible Amityville sequels and spinoffs, we have here the 21st Amityville movie and the first in a long time that actually directly relates to the infamous house. However, unlike most of the films, this one chooses to focus on the true horror that took place in the house.
A franchise that was born in 1979, it is predominately based around the infamous house, 112 Ocean Avenue in Amity, Long Island.
The fourth movie with the Amityville title in five months to be released in 2016, Amityville: No Escape is the seventeenth film in the franchise.
The Amityville Terror is the 3rd film to connect with the Amityville story that came out in a 5 month period of 2016. It’s also the 16th of the series.
Amityville: Vanishing Point isn’t just the worst movie in the franchise so far but has the proud honour of being one of the worst movies ever made.
