They are back! After nine years in vigilant slumber the mighty Unanimated, originators of the infamous Swedish melodic death/black metal sound, return with four brand new tracks. Annihilation was released on August 10th 2018 via Century Media Records.
Let’s continue with the trend of looking back at some of the band’s that seriously impressed us at Bloodstock Festival 2018, but who’s releases we missed. This time we are taking a look at the Welsh melodic death metal band, Democratus and their January 2018 release, Starting Again.

American melodic death metallers, Parius, have released a new single called Phylactery. Phylactery will feature on the band’s second full length album called Tales from the Eldritch Realm which is due to be released independently on the 20th of July.
Finnish/Swedish melodic death metal band, Coldbound have released their new album entitled The Gale. The concept behind the album is focused on memories, nostalgia, personal struggles and last but not least its purpose is to raise awareness of those who suffer with depression.
Releasing their long awaited debut record entitled ‘Bliss’, Vulgore are a melodic death metal band with groove elements. The five-piece band are on the rise and attendees at this year’s Blooodstock have the opportunity to catch them play.
That’s to come though, right now it’s all about Bliss.
German black metallers, The Sprit, are due to reissue their debut album, Sounds from the Vortex, through Nuclear Blast on the 10th of August. The Clouds of Damnation is the title of the first single to be released.
