From writer and director Jeff Seemann comes Terror Trips, a horror movie that promises so much and fails to deliver on pretty much anything. An engaging story, good characters, scares, or a satisfying ending. Putting it simply, Terror Trips is not a good movie.
A good example of how found footage horror can still result in a decent movie, Infernum comes from writer/director Dutch Marich. It stars Suziey Block, Michael Barbuto, Clinton Roper Elledge, and Sarah Schoofs.
Directed by Bruno Mattei, who also wrote the story, Rats: Night of Terror is a delightfully dated post-apocalyptic horror film that stars Ottaviano Dell’Acqua, Geretta Geretta, Massimo Vanni, Gianni Franco, Ann-Gisel Glass, Cindy Leadbetter and Henry Luciani.
While it might be the fifth film in the series, The Brotherhood V: Alumni marks a tone shift for the franchise. One that borrows heavily from the likes of I Know What You Did Last Summer.
From the extremely talented writer and director, Jaye Adams, comes Incubus. A disturbing and uncomfortable horror short with real-world parallels that are handled deftly.
Written and directed by David A. Roberts, Older Gods is an exemplary example of low-budget horror relying on imagination and tone to fill the viewer with dread.
From director Alexanderthetitan comes Barbie. No, not THAT Barbie. Rather a twisted and horrifying version that is a little over four minutes long.
