Interview: Kristen Sturgis (Guitar) of Conquer Divide (Video/Audio)

Conquer Divide have just revealed their latest single, ‘Bad Dreams’ featuring Michigan metalcore heroes Of Virtue. The single comes ahead of their U.K. and European tour dates with Ankor from February 7th to March 16th. This, following their late January UK tour with New Years Day.

The song combines Conquer Divide’s ability to mix luscious and captivating vocals and hooks with their crushing intensity, both musically and lyrically, on this introspective slab of inner turmoil, which is complemented by Of Virtue’s vocalists Tyler Ennis and Damon Tate’s melodic turned raging contributions.

A Deluxe Edition of their most recent album ‘Slow Burn’ was released digitally on September 27th and featured an additional six recordings. Three of these are from Sirius XM Octane’s Next Wave Concert Series, which are “Bad Guy,” “Atonement,” and “Paralyzed.” Alongside “Paralyzed (Featuring “Attack Attack!),” “Only Girl” (Acoustic), and “80 Proof.”

About Slow Burn, we described it as:

A statement making album, Conquer Divide are eyeing up big things in their future and have one hell of an album that will help push them upwards. Slow Burn is a brash and vibrant showcase of modern anthemic sounds, oozing relatable honesty and passion from beginning to end. The band doing a good job of blending chaotic dynamism and animated melody across its twelve tracks.
