EP Review: The Hole – The WRATH (Necromance Records)
Hailing from the Canary Islands in Spain, The Hole will release their new EP, The WRATH on September 1st 2017 via Necromance Records.
Be prepared…The Hole aren’t messing around. Playing an absolutely crushing blend of death & thrash metal, The WRATH grabs you by the throat & spends 20+ minutes squeezing the life out of you.
With plenty of rhythm & hooks spread throughout the five tracks its not like the band is playing heavy with no sense of direction. Whether it’s the unrelenting brutality of Diss, the crushing beat of Glory Kill or the madness inducing riffing & soloing of The Shepard of Souls, The WRATH is about delivering a heavy & meaningful statement.
Ending on one last middle finger, Dawn of Deception hammers the point home in the only way The Hole know how. By delivering crushing riffs & dirty vocals. A quality finish to a quality EP.
