EP Review: We Came From Wolves – Haunt Me (Heart Out Records)

Haunt Me is the new EP from We Came from Wolves. The follow up to the critically acclaimed self-titled debut, the EP is out on September 22nd 2017 via Heart Out Records.

Wolves 1

The gang vocals that start This Never Gets Easy is initially thrilling. Expectation is that the track is going to open up in some form of hardcore breakdown but instead we get a hard-rocking melodic number in the vein of modern Bring Me the Horizon. It’s far from a disappointing track though, the vocals absolutely slay especially when they reach throat-shredding highs.

The Peak Beneath the Sea offers a faster groove with a much catchier vibe before Places’ & Falling cement the pop-rock quality on show. Radio friendly & really easy to enjoy even if it’s not exactly fresh sounding.

Haunt ends on the slower & more emotionally layered title track. A showcase of excellent vocals & soul-searching guitar melodies.
