Game Review: Black Mirror (Xbox One)

Originally released in 2003, The Black Mirror was a third-person point and click horror game. A very successful game, it would get two sequels before being rebooted at the end of 2017. The reboot would drop the point and click style of gameplay in favour of a more ‘free-roaming’ adventure style.

Game Review: A Knight’s Quest (Xbox One)

Influenced by many an action adventure game over the years but mainly The Legend of Zelda, A Knight’s Quest is a colourful and charming game. One that brings a smile to the face with its fun and varied gameplay but has a few noticeable flaws that stop it being a great game.

Game Review: Gears 5 (Xbox One X)

A Microsoft/Xbox staple, Gears of War (or Gears as it seems to just be known now) first appeared on the Xbox 360 in 2006. Since then we’ve had three direct sequels and ‘spinoff’ called Judgement leading to this, Gears 5, the sixth instalment of the third-person shooter series. Developed by The Coalition and published by Xbox Game Studios, Gears 5 picks up where Gears of War 4 left off.
