Horror Movie Review: Valentine (2001)
Ripping off every slasher horror from the 80s, Valentine is a boorish and sub-par horror that confuses what a twist can be.

We deal in horror but that doesn’t mean there isn’t love to be found there. So here are 10 movies we think you lovers should be checking out this Valentine’s Day.
A SyFy original *shudder*, Chupacabra: Dark Seas was directed by John Shepphird who co-wrote it with Steve Jankowski. It stars John Rhys-Davies, Giancarlo Esposito, Dylan Neal, and Chelan Simmons.
Directed by Lola Wallace who co-wrote it with Tom Devlin, The Trek is a horror movie surrounding a missing couple. Told in documentary style with interviews from the couple’s families and friends as well as seeing the events that befell the pair.
Directed by David DeCoteau, Ring of Darkness sees a world famous boyband literally devour their new members to stay young.
The best horror movies are often the ones where you care about the characters in peril. Incubus is not one of those movies.
It’s hard to be too harsh to The Incredible Melting Man as it seems to revel in its own ‘badness’. It’s aware that it is mostly thrash. However it would be one to avoid completely if it wasn’t for the uber gooey effects of the title character.
Written and directed by Jesús Franco (amongst others), a name synonymous with sleazy and erotic horror, A Virgin Among the Living Dead is a film that rises above its trashy name and differing versions to actually be somewhat of a decent watch.
