Horror Movie Review: Redneck Zombies (1989)
Coming from Troma Entertainment, chances are you’ve already got an idea of just what kind of movie Redneck Zombies is. A silly, gory, gratuitous low-budget offering.

I wanted to really like Apartment 212 (also known as Gnaw), I really did but the final 20-30 minutes pays off an enjoyable mystery horror with a lacklustre ending and a finale sting in the tail that can be seen coming a mile away.
101 Zombies also known as Broken Springs also known as Broken Springs: Shine of the Undead Zombie Bastards is a low-budget zombie flick. One that tries to borrow inspiration from movies like Zombieland but comes up woefully short.
Thanks to Disney, Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Mermaid is one of the most famous fairy tales out there even if the animation company took a much lighter view on it. Anderson’s original story was a lot darker which is the perfect inspiration for Mermaid’s Song (also known as Charlotte’s Song). A horror take on the classic story.
Found Footage 3D is exactly what is says it is. A found footage horror film shot natively in 3D. The first of its kind. Whether that’s a good thing or not is up to you to decide.
The third and final entry in the Re-Animator series combines a lot of what I enjoy in horror. Good acting and great practical effects, the latter done by Screaming Mad George. Beyond Re-Animator has both as well as lot more going for it.
A gritty and grimy horror movie, Carl is a ‘hillbilly’ horror that takes inspiration from the likes of Texas Chainsaw Massacre but fails to live up to those standards.
The web-chat style of horror/found-footage isn’t exactly that innovate anymore. Hit and miss, e-Demon is no different. However, thanks to some effective moments, good acting and an interesting story, e-Demon is a memorable watch.
