Horror Short Review: Serbian Dancing Lady Backrooms (2026)
Strike while the iron is hot, right? That’s the saying and it’s a saying that ACMofficial takes to heart. Although you could also apply the ‘flogging a dead horse’ saying to a lot of what they do to.
Not content with his own version of Backrooms, creator Alex Magaña, introduced the Smiling Woman into the world previously, and now brings the Serbian Dancing Lady into play. Crossovers that you never knew you needed and definitely didn’t want.

Y’shatzin plays a security guard patrolling a multi-level car park that is this short’s version of Backrooms. There’s a barely a pause for breath before the infamous music starts to play over the intercom and the security guard hears the clacking of heels. She is here, played as always, by Cat Hamm and she doesn’t take kindly to being recorded.
Armed with a knife, she chases after the security guard who quickly realises that escape is impossible. He’s trapped in the Backrooms and the Serbian Dancing Lady isn’t going to stop until she gets her hands on him.

It’s a perfectly fine short that neither impresses nor disappoints. I don’t care for ACMoffical’s Backrooms as its visually unimpressive and not used in a clever way, but I do like the Serbian Dancing Lady stuff they do. Thankfully, it feels more like latter than the former.
