Leviathan is a science fiction horror film directed by George P. Cosmatos, it released in 1989. It follows a crew of underwater geologists who encounter a highly infectious, DNA altering disease. This particular affliction causes those affected to be transformed and consumed by a hideous mutant creature.
A horror comedy, sort of. In that it doesn’t have much in the way of horror or comedy. Stuff Stephanie in the Incinerator is one of the most confusingly titled movies ever.
On the one hand The Terror Within in is an unashamed Alien clone/wannabe but on the other it’s a hilariously campy 80’s mutant horror that is down-right shocking in regards to how gory it is. Whichever side you fall on both can agree that as far as entertainment goes, The Terror Within delivers!
Coming from Troma Entertainment, chances are you’ve already got an idea of just what kind of movie Redneck Zombies is. A silly, gory, gratuitous low-budget offering.
If you enjoy hallucinations and a strangely moral tale, then Santa Sangre might be the film for you.

The Fly II is a 1989 science fiction horror film that is a direct sequel to the 1986 film The Fly. Directed by Chris Walas, starring Eric Stoltz and Daphne Zuniga, it tries to capture the fantastical nature of the original while upping the gore & nastiness at the expense of a well-told story.
Coming out in the year of underwater-themed movies, DeepStar Six is an entertaining watch with some clever plot points, good acting and some inventive gory moments.
