Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life are pleased to bring you an interview with dark, melodic metal band, Otherworldly Entity.

Buy Me a Coffee at

1. How did you get started as a band?

Zlatko and I formed the band back in 2018 as John Harris and the Otherworldly Entities in support of my solo album DICHOTOMY. After playing together for a year or so, we were working on new material and after seeing some achievements as a group, we decided to change it to Otherworldly Entity. Because as a band, we’re one entity.

2. How would you describe your sound?

Dark and melodic. We really want to explore the darkness that genuinely exists in all of us.

3. What bands/artists would you say have influenced your style of music?

Cold, Deftones, System of a Down, Korn.

4. Has the rise of YouTube & music streaming helped or hindered you as a band?

I think it has helped us. It has given more people an opportunity to find us.

5. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not making music?

I’m a fashion and jewelry designer (JPHii DESIGN) so I love creating characters and doing photo shoots, but I’m also a paranormal investigator, so I spend a lot of time in creepy places.

6. What are your future plans musically? Tours?

We are releasing a new EP this year, and after seeing the reaction to our latest single Monster Inside You, I’m excited about where the new EP is going. We really want to tour this year and play festivals as much as possible.
