1. How did you get started as a band?

The origins of Luna Kiss go back to 2013 when James, Chris, and Wil met at college. Chris and Tommy met at University, but it wasn’t till the previous bass player left in 2019 that Tommy stepped in to form the current line-up.

2. How would you describe your sound?

We like to bring the swag, grit and energy to our version of rock and roll.

3. What bands/artists would you say have influenced your style of music?

We’re all very much influenced by different genres and artists. Myself (Wil) and Tommy love a bit of cheeky Greenday and Rammstein, James is into bands like Idles but also a die hard Led Zep fan, Chris loves his jazzy bands. Collectively we all have a communal passion for rock and just want tow write music that we can’t find anyone else doing.

4. Has the rise of YouTube & music streaming helped or hindered you as a band?

It’s a blessing and a curse. YouTube is a great platform to get music out and also share the identity of the band. Streaming platforms have the potential to be fantastic but the revenue streams are peanuts! We are grateful for the ability to find new fans, which helps to build a community around Luna Kiss.

5. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not making music?

I personally love anything to do with making stuff. Cooking, DIY, building stuff! We actually build our own music video set for the latest two singles ‘Operate’ and ‘Lust For Blood’.

6. What are your future plans musically? Tours?

We in the middle of a big single cycle. We are releasing 5 tracks this year (two of which mentioned above are already out). So expect lots more music from us. We are out on the road a lot this year too. If you’re UK based you can find our tour dates online.
