RISPERIDRONE Announce Debut Album ‘Black Shuck’

Cardiff groove metal and doom heavyweights RISPERIDRONE have announced their long awaited debut album, ‘Black Shuck’, arriving this Summer 2026.

Six years in the making, Black Shuck represents the culmination of years of growth, experimentation and relentless dedication. Blending crushing groove metal, monolithic doom, sludge drenched riffs and haunting melodies, the album delivers the band’s most ambitious and accomplished work to date.

Produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by guitarist Wigg Grant at WG Audio, the album explores themes of anxiety, resilience, folklore, mythology and horror while balancing colossal riffs with soaring melodies and atmospheric songwriting.

Following acclaimed releases including the Revenant EP and singles Lost to the Sea, Grimace, The Embalmed, Dirge, Wizard Weed and Anvil, along with performances alongside Froglord, Bokassa and The Wildhearts, RISPERIDRONE continue to establish themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging heavy bands.
