Horror Short Review: Make Me a Sandwich 2 (2025)
How many sandwiches will Marcy make before going crazy? Make Me A Sandwich was a deeply unsettling and disturbing horror short from Deformed Lunchbox released in 2020. Now, six years later, we have the sequel, and it is really good.

This time, the story surrounds a man whose obnoxious behaviour towards his (clearly) long-suffering mother has dire consequences. Constantly demanding sandwiches, he is about to get exactly what he wants, forever and ever.

This sequel could have just repeated what the original short did and there would have been very few complaints. So, it is a genuine delight to see such a clever, exciting, tense, and horrifying short released. It’s an ‘edge of the seat’ kind of watch and for less than three minutes, most will be unable to tear their eyes away from the screen.
Its concise story is compelling, the acting is incredible, the visuals are stunning, and the sound design is on point. It really doesn’t get better than this.
