Horror Short Review: Elevator Woman (2025)
Have you heard of the Elevator game? The urban legend/creepypasta serves as writer and director Rohit Sharma’s inspiration for Elevator Woman. A horror short that stars Ashi and Sakshi.
So, you might be wondering just what is the Elevator Game?

Essentially, it’s a step-by-step guide to find a way to the ‘other side’. A step-by-step guide that involves you travelling to specific floors in a specific order without stepping out, resulting in a final stop to somewhere unknown. Which is spooky enough, until you factor in the woman who may, or may not, join you at a certain point. Should she come aboard, do not interact with her in any way, it won’t end well. Even if she drops something.

Elevator Woman builds up the tension nicely as the game is played, and when it does pay it off, it does so in satisfying fashion. There’s nothing remarkable about it, but it does have strong creepy vibes. Worth a watch as there is talent behind it, even if the sound (what’s with the crickets!?) could do with some work.
