Horror Short Review: Mukbang (2022)
The internet sure can be a weird place, but only because people are so weird. A mukbang is one such slice of weirdness that has risen to prominence over the last decade.

A non-prosecuted video nasty, and for good reason, The Slayer aka Nightmare Island was directed by J. S. Cardone who wrote it with William R. Ewing. It stars Sarah Kendall, Frederick Flynn, Carol Kottenbrook and Alan McRae.
Released in the same year as The Facility (in North America at least), an average ‘medical research gone wrong’ horror, After Effect walks a nearly similar path to that movie.
Creepy and sad, an interesting combination for a horror short, Last Bus Home is a stellar piece of work from director, writer, DOP & editor Mark Jackson.
Directed by David Cholewa and starring Fabian Wolfrom, Blandine Papillon and John Fallon, Dead Shadows is an odd amalgamation of different horror ideas that does a lot right and a lot wrong.
Directed by Scott W. McKinlay and written by Jim Bartoo, Creep Van is one of those nice low-budget/indie horror surprises. Where you go in not expecting much but come out satisfied and entertained.
The Mannequin, a four-minute horror short directed by Alex Magaña, who co-wrote the story with Jed Brain and starring Juliette Cecil.
Taking first place for the worst movie we’ve seen this year; The Overnight is a mess of a movie. Poorly acted and badly paced with an unnecessarily confusing plot.
