Amber Alert has such an excellent premise, one that makes you question just what you’d do in the same position. It’s just a pity that it’s nothing more then an average found footage horror with constant bickering between the main characters.
After two good films in the franchise, they just couldn’t leave it alone. Tremors 3: Back to Perfection is a disappointing and unnecessary entry. However, it’s not without some of the classic charm thanks to a returning cast. I mean, it’s called Back to Perfection after all.
976-EVIL 2: The Astral Factor does the commendable job of being slightly better than the original thanks to a few standout scenes and sequences. A confused plot, a terrible villain and a cliched hero all combine to make this a chore to watch however.
Female Zombie Riot is the long-awaited sequel to Zombie Women of Satan and sees Pervo the Clown facing off against an army of zombie women again!
Pigs is a 1973 horror movie that really isn’t about pigs. Those hoping to see a film about rampaging hogs eating human beings will be sorely disappointed.
When you hear the title Mutant want kind of horror movie do you think of? Creature feature? Monster? Mad experiment gone wrong? All of them seem perfectly plausible. How about zombies? Yeah, I didn’t think so but that is exactly what Mutant is about.
Do you need a reminder of just how vapid and soulless found footage horror can be? How dry that particular well is? How lazy, frustrating and unenjoyable it often is? Excellent, sit back and waste 80 minutes of your time with Camera Phone.
