Horror Movie Review: Rock ‘n’ Roll Nightmare (1987)

A bit of a cult classic, most probably won’t understand why until the final 15 minutes. When we reach that point, good god does Rock ‘n’ Roll Nightmare come into its own. It’s outrageously silly, so much so that it’s hard not to love every minute of it. This is a great example of a ‘so bad, it’s good’ horror movie.

A film of two halves, this found footage horror has a jarring shift in tone that some may like but many will hate. Evidence is a movie that wastes much of its potential while also sticking rigidly to what you’d expect from a found footage horror.

Oh we’re really scrapping the barrel of 80’s horror here. Evil Clutch aka Il Bosco 1 is a 1988 Italian horror film written and directed by Andrea Marfori. A super low-budget horror flick, even the most ardent of 80’s Italian horror will struggle with this one.
