APF Records is an independent record label based in Salford, Greater Manchester specialising in heavy metal and hard rock and their subgenres: stoner, sludge, doom, thrash, post-metal, black metal, hardcore.
Founded and run by Andrew Field, since its inception in 2017, the lavel has released records from a wide array of heavy bands such as A Horse Called War, Ba’al, Barbarian Hermit, Battalions, Berenice, Blind Haze, BongCauldron, Corrupt Moral Altar, Desert Storm, Diesel King, Gandalf The Green, Goblinsmoker, Indica Blues, Lair of the White Worm, Made of Teeth, Mastiff, Nomad, Pist, Possessor, RedEye Revival, Sound of Origin, Swamp Coffin, The Brothers Keg, The Grand Mal, The Hyena Kill, The Wizards Of Delight, Tides of Sulfur, Toom, TORSO, Trevor’s Head, Trippy Wicked & the Cosmic Children of the Knight, Tronald, Under, Urzah, Utopia, Video Nasties, Voidlurker, Wall, War After War, Wasted Death and Widows.
We’re big fans of the label and sat down with founder/owner Andrew Field to find out a bit more about the label, its origins, its aim, and its future. We also find out more about the man himself, his time in the industry, his love for Rush, and so much more.
