Horror Short Review: Funny Woman 3 (2026)

Dark Fun have finally brought us the much anticipated third entry in their Funny Woman series of horror shorts and it is both the best and worst entry so far.

Funny Woman 3 comes from M.No and stars Ava.safaei (Instagram handle) and tells a very simple story. A woman, who seems to be cheating on her partner, gets a visit from the ‘funny woman’ character, whose wacky behaviour, facial expressions, and sounds, makes her seem pretty harmless.

Except she is not. She likes to play games, and no-one but her ever wins.

So, why is it the best and worst entry so far? It’s the best because the antics of the funny woman are quite something here and she continues to be a delight to watch. It’s the worst though because it’s nonsensical and the creators appear to have used AI to generate the final shot of the film.

It’s unnecessary, especially as the effect looks awful, and it leaves a notable blemish on the short in the end.
