EP Review: Hear Me Out – Adrenaline (We Hear You Records)

Hungarian rock band, Hear Me Out are very new to the scene having formed in 2017. After cutting their teeth on the live circuit the four-piece finally got around to releasing their debut EP, Adrenaline.

Three tracks long, it’s a fine taster of what Hear Me Out are capable of. Hard rocking, riff-heavy with a touch of both classic rock and metal infused in their sound. While they definitely lean way more towards the former style, the flair they show in their riffs and solos has all the hallmarks of the heavier side of music.

After a rollicking start with the title track, Eagle Wings takes things to a slower level as the clean vocals get a showcase. A sweet tune, it’s sandwiched in between two more energetic tracks which don’t serve it well.

The debut effort from Hear Me Out closes with Stop! A fairly innocuous beat picks up in pace allowing the guitars to really shine until we get a short but well done solo to end things on.

There’s a lot of promise shown here.
