After her brother’s tragic death, a young girl meets three men who claim they can bring him back to life.
A Tattie-Bogle is a Scottish term for scarecrow, so Attack of the Tattie-Bogle is basically Attack of the Scarecrow. A less inspired title. Fear not though, what it lacks in a characters and story, it makes up for in sheer brutality.
Taking its cues from franchises of old in regards to calling itself ‘The Final Chapter’ when it really isn’t, Badder Ben (terrible title) is the third movie in the Bad Ben series. It continues the story set up in the original and is a direct sequel to that movie.
With Evil Bong, Full Moon Pictures have sent any goodwill towards this series up in smoke with lacklustre sequel after sequel. Evil Bong 666 does little to change that.
The follow up to the better then expected Bad Ben goes the prequel route. A fine idea as there certainly was a bit of mystery about it but in the end we get a half-hearted found footage horror that drops logic and sense for an abundance of scare attempts. With very few actually managing to land.
Released in 2017 under the name Dead Ant, Giant Killer Ants is probably a more apt title for a movie that promises ant-related high-jinks, comedy, nudity and gore. It delivers the ants and some of the rest but ultimately is nothing but a half-hearted forgettable comedy horror. More memorable for who is actually in it rather then what they do.
The Restaurant is a horror comedy written and directed by Eric Ford Holevinski (as Eric T. Ford). It stars Mark Robert Turner as the owner of a small Italian restaurant who made a deal with a demon to ensure his business is a success.
