Horror Movie Review: Steel Trap (2007)
Steel Trap is a low-rent attempt at Saw blended with every slasher movie trope going. That description might make it sound interesting but Steel Trap really doesn’t nail any aspect of what it tries to do.

We really didn’t need a Hannibal Lector prequel but his youth has been shrouded in mystery. How does a man become so twisted and evil? Hannibal Rising looks to give some insight into that and the end result is…decent.
Crocodile horrors are rarely good movies. Normally CGI-fests they lack the ‘killer’ edge that makes them good villains. Black Water is different though. Proving to be a tension-filled and smart horror that does for crocodiles what Jaws did for sharks.
British horror Dead Wood is written, produced and directed by Richard Stiles and David Bryant. It stars Emily Juniper, Fergus March, Rebecca Craven, Nina Kwok and John Samuel Worsey.
Directed by Gregory Jacobs and starring Emily Blunt and Ashton Holmes, Wind Chill is a psychological/paranormal horror that, like its stars, breaks down in the snow and refuses to budge.
A sequel to the atrocious 2005 horror, Boogeyman 2 drops the supernatural side of the series. Instead focusing on a horrible bunch of characters being killed off by someone in a mask.
Every so often a horror movie comes along that utilises many of the standard horror tropes but does it so well, it rises above the murky depths. One such film was Rec, a zombie, found-footage horror.
The final Species movie (as of now) drops any real connections to the previous three & delivers a bargain basement experience that has almost no value.
