Directed by Charles Band, Petrified might be one of the worst horrors to come from the director and Full Moon Productions to date. Which is saying a lot considering the rubbish they’ve put out.
Talk about squandering a decent idea. The Last Winter tells an interesting story with some environmental lessons but absolutely drops the ball with an idiotic finale. It’s ambitious and smart and throws all that away for some of the worst CGI monsters outside of SyFy TV movie.
The best horror movies are often the ones where you care about the characters in peril. Incubus is not one of those movies.
Hold on to your pumpkins, this is a rough one. Halloween Night is unashamed in its attempt to grab a bit of the Halloween slasher cash by putting in next to no effort.
The third and thankfully, final entry in the series, I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer was released in 2006, direct to video. Not a single member of the cast of either of the first two films return. Clearly smart enough to know that the series has run out of ideas way before this movie was released.
