A horror about a killer eyeball from another dimension, one that is a little bit horny? Why not? We’ve seen pretty much everything else! The Killer Eye was released in 1999 and directed by David DeCoteau.
Kris unexpectedly finds that she has inherited a derelict house. Accompanied by a group of friends, she goes there to clear it of heir-looms before the structure is demolished. Almost immediately, she and her friends are targeted by a powerful warlock who is very interested in her bloodline.
Writer/Director Brad Sykes manages to evoke a range of emotions in Camp Blood. You’ll feel boredom, frustration, annoyance, confusion and sadness. The latter because you’ve wasted your time watching the film when you could have been stabbing a fork into your hand instead.
The third and final entry in the From Dusk Till Dawn movie series follows the format laid down by many ‘third’ entries before it by being a prequel. Set way before the events of both the first and the second movies, The Hangman’s Daughter effectively serves as an origin story for Santanico Pandemonium.
From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money is the direct to video/DVD sequel to the cult hit From Dusk Till Dawn that squanders all the good will with a lacklustre and poorly written effort.
The third and final (thankfully) Candyman film was released in 1999. Directed by Turi Meyer and starring Tony Todd and Donna D’Errico, the film sees the sinister villain return again to cause chaos during the Day of the Dead holiday.
