1. How did you get started as a band?

(James – Rhythm Guitar): That was between Rupert, Ryan and Lucie our old singer, they all knew each other from a previous project and Ryan fancied recording a few song with Rupert (The man with the studio), and Lucie was just a perfect fit for it. The groups evolved ever since.

2. How would you describe your sound?

I would definitely say symphonic rock. There’s some other influences in there, some metal for sure, but it’s still safely in the rock category.

3. What bands/artists would you say have influenced your style of music?

Well Nightwish, Within Temptation, AC/DC and Guns & Roses have been big influences for Rupert and Ryan. You can probably hear those in the music quite clearly. I am on the heavier side of things, Lordi, Gwar, Dimmu Borgir are my cuppa tea, although there is the odd pop artists I get inspired from too so you’ll hear that on the newer stuff for sure.

4. Has the rise of YouTube & music streaming helped or hindered you as a band?

Well the question of if streaming has helped the music industry in general is tough one, I have certainly discovered new artists from it but obviously they don’t really get paid for it, and that’s certainly true for us haha. As far as being able to get our music out there just for people to enjoy its great, once we get on the road I’ll be able to tell you if the streaming brings fans out!

5. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not making music?

Err… listening to music haha. That’s mostly what I do, but I like a spot of photography, painting and just going for long walks. Both me and Rupert are into painting actually, is very therapeutic after a stressful day.

We also have a storm chaser in our group which is very unique. Actually Paul and Ryan had kids recently so they don’t have hobbies anymore, but I am sure they are totally ok with that.

6. What are your future plans musically? Tours?

Release an album, tour on it. That’s the simple version. We are actually getting closer to releasing one, a ton of material recorded but still a few important bits to get done before it can see the light of day. Regardless of when it is ready we hope to do some shows by the end of the year.
