Following the success of their recent single ‘Dead’, Atreyu return with ‘Ego Death’, a new track that digs into the idea of shedding who you were to become who you’re meant to be.

I dig how modern Atreyu sound, and this latest single proves, without argument, that they have evolved and they’re all the better for it. An older, wiser, and more creative sounding band that has shades of their past selves, but one that isn’t afraid to experiment. There are so many cool moments on this track, least of the incredible guitar soloing.

Dark Divine – Permanent

Ominous metalcore band Dark Divine return with their next single ‘Permanent’, out via Thriller Records alongside a new music video. The track leans into the band’s darker, more vulnerable side, exploring the lingering damage of a relationship that never truly fades, even after it ends.

Our latest single, ‘Permanent’ illustrates the comparison of a toxic relationship to a bad tattoo. The circumstances surrounding it in the beginning may have been positive, but over time the memory becomes a permanent stain on not only the body but the mind as well.

Modern metalcore with a thick vein of emotion running through it, Dark Divine’s authenticity continues to make them a potent force and this anthemic effort is up there as one of their best modern tracks. Dramatic, melodious, catchy, and punchy, when the times comes. It’s a likable track that has the power to touch the soul.
