After a strong showing in season 1, Castlevania is back for a 2nd season with double the episodes! Season 1 served as more of an extended prologue, a setting up of the characters, surroundings & circumstances. With all of that established season 2 is an improvement in many areas but also fails to fully capitalise on some of the characters introduced.
Haunted is a brand new Netflix Original series available to watch immediately on the streaming platform. It is a short series, containing just 6 episodes that are around 25 to 30 minutes long.
Channel Zero is a horror anthology TV Series created by Nick Antosca, who serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. Originally airing on the SyFy channel, each season contains six episodes and are based on popular Creepypastas. Season one was based on Candle Cove.
Season 2 of Freddy’s Nightmares premiered on October 2nd, 1989 a few months after the release of A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child.
The Day of the Triffids is a lengthy two-part show adapted from the John Wyndham’s novel of the same title. It’s not the first adaption of novel as it had previously been adapted in 1962 as a film and by the BBC as mini-series in 1981.
It really is amazing that the phenomenon that is Freddy Krueger reached such heights that we actually got a TV series. Two seasons only but out of that we got 44 episodes, 22 in each. Season 1 premiered on October 8th, 1988 a few months after the release of A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master.
