After Midnight was directed by Christian Stella and Jeremy Gardner, the latter also wrote and stars in the movie. There’s something outside, something that comes at night and scratches to get in.
Tentacles takes place in the small, coastal town called Ocean Beach. An idyllic town about to have a big problem. A Problem with tentacles and connected to the digging of a tunnel deep under the sea.
This franchise is beginning to look a bit tired now and come the end of this 7th instalment, you get the impression that everyone is ready to move on.
Released in 2017 under the name Dead Ant, Giant Killer Ants is probably a more apt title for a movie that promises ant-related high-jinks, comedy, nudity and gore. It delivers the ants and some of the rest but ultimately is nothing but a half-hearted forgettable comedy horror. More memorable for who is actually in it rather then what they do.
Unashamed in its ripping off of Jaws, Up from the Depths feels like a spoof horror but it is not. It’s just really, really bad.
