A serviceable idea but with a flawed execution, The Isle is a supernatural horror that is well made, looks great and competently acted. However, it’s entertainment value comes in spurts and they’re short. Sadly, The Isle is just often a boring movie even if the eerie tone and mythology is attention grabbing.
Having trouble sleeping? Insomnia got you in its grip? Well, there is a cure. Something guaranteed to put you to sleep in record time. All you have to do is sit, turn the lights down and put on Dogged.
Directed by Josh Gerritsen and starring Laila Robins, Adam Wade McLaughlin, Terri Reeves, Matthew Wilkas, and Elaine Landry. Island Zero starts off so well, its premise is sound and it builds mystery and tension nicely before dropping the ball…hard.
Get past the low budget nature of this movie & you’ll find a fun zombie flick that has it’s tongue
