A heist-gone-wrong flick – but with a supernatural twist.
Written and directed by Kent Bateman, The Headless Eyes is a puzzling horror film. On the surface, it’s exploitive trash hoping to shock at a time when the shocks were coming thick and fast. However, dig deeper and you’ll find something artsy, pretentious, and weird.
Created by Mitsumoto Yuasa and starring Masatoshi Ikeda and Kayo Hikita, Don’t Look Back is a well-made horror short that will send some chills down your spine.
If you’ve seen one camp-based slasher horror film, you’ve seen most of them, which might seem dismissive, until you watch Camp Twilight do the bare minimum.
ACMofficial’s OnlyFan’s series of horror shorts have been some of Alex Magaña’s strongest stuff, mainly because it makes the horror of its stories relevant and real.
Directed by Andy Milligan, who co-wrote it with John Borske, and starring Michael Cox, Linda Driver, Jane Helay, and Bernard Kaler, Bloodthirsty Butchers is a loose adaption of the Sweeney Todd tale. Approached with very little finesse and putting the focus on crude gore over everything else, it’s not a quality film.
