Horror Movie Review: Steel Trap (2007)
Steel Trap is a low-rent attempt at Saw blended with every slasher movie trope going. That description might make it sound interesting but Steel Trap really doesn’t nail any aspect of what it tries to do.

What the Peeper Saw is a controversial horror/thriller. Causing a lot of fuss thanks to its extensive nudity and an implied brief underage sex scene.
Having garnered a cult classic following since its 1976 release, it’s easy to see why Alice, Sweet Alice is still proving to be popular amongst genre purists. A smart and interesting tale that keeps you guessing and delivers a hefty payoff.
Following in the footsteps of Halloween, this new entry in the long running Leprechaun series is not a reboot but a sequel to the original movie and that one alone. Every single movie after the 1993 horror has been retconned.
Sleepwalkers or Stephen King’s Sleepwalkers has the distinct pleasure of not being as bad as many other movies with the acclaimed horror writer’s name attached to it.
Psycho Santa is an anthology of sorts. A couple are on a long drive so to pass the time, the man decides to tell stories of a psychopathic Santa killer that stalks the local region. Three separate stories, three urban legends about this maniac who sees you when you’re sleeping and knows when you’re awake.
On orders from Santa himself, Krampus: The Christmas Devil spends Christmas time dishing out punishment to those on the naughty list. A decent enough idea transformed into one of the worst Christmas horrors ever.
For the most part Christmas Slay does very little different and is a cut and paste copy of every slasher ever. It’s not bad though as writer and director Steve Davis gives it a distinctly British flavour.
