It’s hard to be too harsh to The Incredible Melting Man as it seems to revel in its own ‘badness’. It’s aware that it is mostly thrash. However it would be one to avoid completely if it wasn’t for the uber gooey effects of the title character.
Written and directed by Jesús Franco (amongst others), a name synonymous with sleazy and erotic horror, A Virgin Among the Living Dead is a film that rises above its trashy name and differing versions to actually be somewhat of a decent watch.
The 2004 slasher horror, Malevolence was a decent flick. Gritty and cruel, it had many moments that stuck in the mind. Six years after its release we got the follow-up, a prequel called Malevolence 2: Bereavement.
Expectations were low, very low going into Dead in the Water however the premise intrigued and the end result? Not as bad as expected!
