Horror Short Review: Don’t Play With Dolls 2 (2026)

Don’t Play with Dolls 2 comes from prolific horror short creator Alex Magaña aka ACMofficial, and stars Naiya Armour as Emma.

It’s a stormy night, and she is house sitting, pleasantly surprised by the nice-looking guest room. Except, this guest room already has an occupant, and it comes in doll form. Yes, the girl doll from the first short is back to terrorise another person unwilling to obey the sign that comes with the doll. A sign that simply reads, do not touch.

Which, inevitably, Emma does.

An improvement over the first short in this series and mainly because I think there is a little more imagination used as far as the doll’s antics goes. It’s still mostly unremarkable and uncreative, but it’s certainly more watchable especially as Naiya Armour is a good actor. The use of the storm helps make some of its jump scares a bit more effective too.
