A horror comedy from writer and director Justin Miller, Sleep. Walk. Kill. is almost a good film. One that rises above its ‘no-budget’ look and feel to deliver something fresh and interesting, but fails to land enough laughs and goes on for far too long.
It’s fair to say that most viewers will have certain expectations when seeing a title like The Cheerleader Sleepover Slaughter. It screams campy slasher horror with its tongue jammed in its cheek.
Nobody in their right mind is watching a movie called Alien Shark and expecting anything but B-movie trash. So, it should come as no surprise to find that writer Aaron Jackson and director Paul Tomborello’s Alien Shark is trash.
There’s nothing wrong with a slow-burn movie, but Chatterbox takes that to such an extreme, its pace might be better described as lethargic.

Adult Swim Yule Log aka The Fireplace, is all about subverting expectations and delivering originality, something that writer/director Casper Kelly absolutely nails.
