Horror Movie Review: Tales From The Lodge (2019)
Thanks to a tongue in cheek approach, some solid acting and winks to the likes of Tales from the Crypt, Tales From the Lodge is quite an enjoyable British horror.

While never quite living up to its initial promise, writer/director Neasa Hardiman tells an effective sci-fi horror tale in Sea Fever. One with unintentional links to real life events as they stand in 2020.
Stealing from the likes of Slither and The Crazies while being nowhere as good as those two, The Dustwalker (also known as Alien Parasite) is an Australian horror from writer/director Sandra Sciberras.
Zoombies 2, released 3 years after the original and is somehow worse than the original. Zoombies was a terrible movie and to shock of probably no-one, Zoombies 2 is a terrible movie.
Written and directed by Lawrence Fowler, The Jack in the Box looks to do for ‘jack in the boxes’ what The Conjuring and Annabelle did for dolls. To the point where it seems to have just hit copy and paste.
After so many horrible retreads, it’s an genuine pleasure to go into this movie expecting the same and coming away surprised. Bad Ben 7: The Haunted Highway is a re-energised Nigel Bach, finally bringing something fresh to the franchise.
Praise-worthy for its efforts to breathe new life into the haunted house horror scenario. Girl on the Third Floor is a movie that has a lot of promise but unfortunately comes up short in some important areas.
The 6th Bad Ben movie in 3 years, producer, director and actor Nigel Bach has been churning out his found footage supernatural horrors twice a year since 2017. If that sounds like overkill to you, you’re not wrong but one look at them will tell you exactly why they’re out so quickly.
