Tales of Frankenstein is a horror anthology based upon Donald F. Glut’s short stories published in his book of the same name. Serving as the writer and director for this visual representation, Glut draws from the lore of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein while giving the monster and those around it some new stories.
As synonymous with Halloween as egg-nog is to Christmas. Pumpkins sets the mind racing with an imaginative cover and a fun premise. Unfortunately, the full film doesn’t even come close to living up to it.

A lesson in minimalist film-making and operating on a super low budget but still having class, Anonymous 616 is a tense and smart horror. At least up until its disappointing finale. Yes, it drops the ball in the final quarter of the movie but up to that point, Anonymous 616 is very impressive.
Serving as a ‘sort of’ sequel to the original with minor connections to the second movie, Lake Fear 3 is baffling. Was it a joke? Did the Crum brothers only have about 20 minutes worth of film so decided to film most of it in slow motion?
Directed by Chris O’Neill, Headshots is not the first movie to cast an eye towards Hollywood for its horror theme. However, thanks to a well written story, good acting and a smart look at the seedy side of LA, it’s a movie that stands out from the pack.
