Horror Movie Review: Cronos (1993)

Cronos is a Mexican horror film that is likely best known for being the feature film directional debut of Guillermo del Toro. Releasing in 1993, it stars veteran Argentinean actor Federico Luppi and American actor Ron Perlman. It follows Jesús Gris (Luppi), the owner of an antique store who inadvertently comes across a strange device called the Cronos. The golden apparatus grants its holder eternal life but not for free, the price is blood.

Horror Movie Review: The People Under the Stairs (1991)

The People Under the Stairs is a horror/comedy film that was written and directed by Wes Craven, it released in 1991. The plot follows Poindexter “Fool” Williams, a young boy and resident of a dilapidated Los Angeles Ghetto. The rent is due and his mother is suffering from cancer, unable to afford the lifesaving medical care. Fool decides to join two local burglars in the robbery of the landlord that continues to drive his family further and further into poverty.

TV Series Review: Stranger Things (Season 3)

Ahoy! The much anticipated 3rd season of Stranger Things has finally been delivered by Netflix. Those desperately waiting to return to Hawkins and catch up with their favourite characters don’t have to wait any longer. A threat both new & old will rock the small American town and its inhabitants leaving it forever changed.

Game Review: Aaero (Xbox One X)

Aaero sees players navigating through alien environments in a futuristic flying craft. As the music plays, ribbons of light bend and twist in the air, visualizing aspects of the song. Sometimes it’s vocals. Sometimes it’s strange electronic wails. Using the left analogue stick, players must grind against those ribbons in order to absorb the energy of the music.

Game Review: Metro Exodus (Xbox One X)

Metro Exodus is a first-person shooter video game developed by 4A Games and published by Deep Silver. It is the third installment in the Metro video game series based on Dmitry Glukhovsky’s novels. Exodus follows the events of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light.
