Album Review: TX2 – End of Us (Hopeless Records)
Los Angeles-based alt-rock powerhouse TX2 will release his long-awaited debut album, ‘End Of Us’, on February 13, 2026, via Hopeless Records. An album that features previously released singles and brand-new material.

An unstoppable force in the alternative rock scene, TX2 is on world dominating form and all because the music he creates appeals to all. Poppy enough to appeal to the mainstream, filled with passionate power that will appeal to those who like their music to have feeling, heavy enough to make a head banger nod in approval, and so infectious that all sides will find themselves singing and dancing along.
If all of that wasn’t enough to make this record worth checking out, it’s also notable that TX2 continues to collaborate with artists who compliment his style. Which is quite free and open. While musically he might sit within the world of alternative rock, there is an exciting formlessness to what he offers. Something quite evident from the first few tracks here. Feed, Nice Guy, REJECT VAMPIRISM, and HOSTAGE (they will not erase us).
There, we have collaborations with DeathbyRomy and Ekoh, with both tracks offering up different sounds and styles. Creative and catchy stuff. Alongside an early interlude and an explosive anthemic banger. The first part of the album showing off the strengths of TX2 and how, musically, variety is key to the artist’s success. Especially when certain tracks take on a more generic alternative form even though the less inspired efforts still deliver tons of memorability.
The rise of TX2 is impossible to ignore, and the how and why of it all continues to become clearer the deeper down this rabbit hole the listener goes. From the foot-tapping potency of The Resistance where TX2’s vocals really stretch and soar, and we get a manic electronica-based breakdown. To the excitable and passionate weirdness of 6 Shots Left and the genre-bending and chorus-focused The Rain. Cool stuff with the latter being up there as one of the album’s most infectious and accessible tracks of all.
Singing Along is a bit weird, no? I kind of love it though and it is more of an intermission than anything else. Whereas Lost Souls and Die Alone are equally crowd-pleasers with poppy aspects, tons of energy and even some wild guitar soloing.
Finally, it’s back to collaborating with unique artists and bands. Firstly, Magnolia Park on Murder Scene, a fabulous team up that takes the best of both and injects a bit of the other in, resulting in a hyperactive infectious effort that punches hard. Secondly, Ice Nine Kills on M.A.D., and thirdly, Black Veil Brides on The End of Us, a powerful and melody-laced ending that adds the exclamation mark on TX2’s dominance.
There’s no stopping the talented artist, but you already knew that, didn’t you?
