Nunslaughter, Cleveland’s unholy denizens of the underground, are back with their brand-new, and BLKIIBLK debut, album ‘Satanic Chaos Legions,’ set for release on June 26, 2026.

Well now, isn’t this just lovely? Combining satanically charged wickedness with atmospheric dread and brutal heaviness, Nunslaughter deliver one hell of a beastly record here. One that features fourteen tracks of varying degrees of savagery, sacrilegious intensity, and uncompromising focus. Putting it simply, it’s an album that gets under the skin.

Mean as fuck, mighty as hell, and monumentally heavy, the viciousness begins in emphatic fashion with the title track, and it doesn’t stop until the devastation of The Spear of Satan fades away. Along the way, there’s a lot to take in and sometimes it comes in sharp and scathing fashion, ala Jesus Fucking Dies, Rotten Messiah, Listen to the Lies, and Infernal Reign.

Sometimes it comes with heft and girth, ala Unsacrament, Heavenless, and Cathedral of Stench. Where you’ll find more than just fire and fury. You’ll find groove, you’ll find tempo switches, genre-flips, and so more. Showing that Nunslaughter have more to offer than just salacious noise. Although, I’m not exactly complaining about the waves of ugly heaviness that hits time and time again.

Now, if you’re expecting something ground-breaking or game-changing, look elsewhere. Likewise, if you’re liable to be offended when a band attacks religion, especially the Christian church, then you best give this record a wide berth. The rest of us? Enjoying the absolute guttural and vitriolic nonsense that Nunslaughter provide here.
