Get Heavy Festival returns this summer with a focused, high‑intensity setup: one stage, sixteen bands, and two days of uninterrupted heavy music. No clashes, no filler, just a solid run of the best underground and rising acts in the scene.

Day One will be headlined by Foetal Juice, bringing their trademark chaos, speed, and filth to close out the first night.

Day Two belongs to Existentialist, delivering their razor‑sharp technical brutality and relentless intensity to finish the festival in style.

This year’s line-up includes Bangover UK, Buried By My Heartache, Fakeout UK, Culloden, Thrashatouille, Redscar, Gun Ghaol, 1986, Hammer UK, Hassium, Ruled by Raptors, Fatewaver, Null scape & Brothers of Destruction.

The festival take place on the 15th and 16th of August at Downcast Studios, Gateshead. There is one stage and sixteen bands across two days. The format is continuous, with no overlapping sets.

Expect a single‑stage layout that ensures every band gets full attention, a fast and efficient running order, local food and drink vendors, expanded merch offerings, and a community‑driven atmosphere rooted in the heavy scene.
