SEA SLEEPER Release New Track ‘Manifestor’ from Upcoming Album ‘Burden of Antlers’
SEA SLEEPER has returned with “Manifestor,” an ambitious, eight-minute journey that marks the band’s most expansive and progressive work to date. The track is the latest preview of their forthcoming sophomore album, Burden of Antlers, set for release on September 18, 2026.
Clocking in as the longest song the band has ever written, “Manifestor” captures Sea Sleeper at their most dynamic, shifting through a wide spectrum of moods while maintaining a striking sense of cohesion. Themes and motifs introduced in the opening minutes resurface and evolve throughout the track, creating a circular, immersive listening experience.
“Manifestor” offers a powerful glimpse into Burden of Antlers, Sea Sleeper’s second full-length release. Building on the foundation of their debut Nostophobia, the new album represents a more deliberate and cohesive creative vision. Rather than chasing constant change, the band leans into revisiting and expanding musical passages, exploring ideas in full and allowing them to evolve organically.
Formed by three longtime collaborators who have spent nearly 15 years crafting their take on heavy, unconventional metal, Sea Sleeper recently expanded their lineup with the addition of Tony Spradlin. The result is a tighter, more focused unit pushing deeper into the strange and weighty sound they’ve always aimed to create.
