Bloodstock 2025 Band Feature: Insidious Void
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! It’s Bloodstock time and 2025 is looking to be one of the best events the festival has ever put on, if we’re judging it by bands… which we are, of course.
Taking place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from August 7th to August 10th, Bloodstock Festival 2025 has not only sold out all its weekend tickets, but it also sold out day tickets for the Saturday and the Sunday and it seems likely that Friday will follow suit before the festival actually starts. Boasting a lineup that includes the likes of Emperor, Lacuna Coil, Ministry, Mastodon, Fear Factory, Static-X, Nailbomb, Kataklysm, Obituary, and headliners, Trivium, Machine Head, Gojira, and so much more spread across four stages, it’s going to be one hell of a weekend.

Insidious Void
The North of Ireland regularly produces brilliant metal and over the years, bands from that part of the world have appeared at Bloodstock, making a ton of noise and causing plenty of chaos. The latest to do this will be the 3-piece death metal band, Insidious Void.
Hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, the group’s reputation for grim, nasty, and head banging inducing noise is well known and since 2022 they’ve been damaging ear drums across the Emerald Isle. Not just with a brutish barrage of death metal, but ugly and harsh blackened death metal. All of which can be heard on their brilliant 2022 EP, ‘Entropy’ and 2024’s wicked ‘Hellscape’ EP.
Playing Bloodstock is a massive highlight for us, both personally and as a band. It is something we have aspired to for a long time and we are determined to make the most of it. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say it is the biggest thing we have done as a group, and we are going to enjoy every second of it, but rest assured…this is only the beginning!
Being offered the opportunity to play at a festival like Bloodstock is a great honour on its own, but it’s made that bit more special as Bloodstock has always been a festival that gives new and small bands that platform to push themselves to new heights. Being a part of that in any capacity is amazing.
As a band, we have a habit of trying to push ourselves to be heavier and heavier at every show, Bloodstock is no exception. We are hard at work crafting and perfecting the most vicious set we can muster. Our mission is simple, when we play…we play heavy. We don’t want you to just hear it…we want you to feel it too! We want you to bang your heads so hard you don’t know which way is up! So if you like raw, nasty death metal with a touch of black metal, we hope to see you front and centre. It’s going to be savage!
