Horror Short Review: Funny Woman (2023)

A DarkFun original, Funny Woman is a trippy, but entertaining watch. One that sees a woman meet a hilarious looking witch who entices her to play a twisted game of paper fortune teller.

A simple premise delivered in entertaining fashion, filled with erratic energy, eccentric excitement, and emphatic evil. The star of this short is the outfit that the witch wears, but both characters (Instagram handles: Sanaz7_shiri / delnaaznozari) are great.

It’s so silly that you forget you’re watching a horror, and then things start to take a very dark turn, leading to an ending that is deliciously wicked. It’s shot well with tons of colour, the music is disconcerting, and it delivers a solid fright at the end. Check this one out below.
