Horror Short Review: Umbrella (2025)

Umbrella is a horror short that can be found on creator’s Ikhsan NurHakim YouTube channel, telling a simple story about what happens when you open an umbrella up in a house. Now, culturally, this might be different, but as I’ve always known it, opening an umbrella indoors will cause bad luck. Which is, sort of, in keeping with this short’s idea that opening an umbrella up indoors will invite bad spirits in.

You can’t get unluckier than that! Which is what a teenage girl must deal with when she decides to test the theory out.

An entertaining watch with some solid atmosphere, ending in really graphic fashion, Umbrella is a decent horror short. Let down only by some dodgy sound and a bad makeup job on the evil entity at the end. Still, well worth a watch and you can check it out below.
