An unnerving horror short from Ethan Hunt, Dark Water stars Amelie Melsness and tells a creative story that will have you looking over your shoulder.

Which is what a young woman is forced to do when a shadow, brought on by a jar full of dark liquid, starts to haunt her. While the concept might seem basic, especially as far as a supernatural tale goes, it’s told in disconcerting fashion. This is what makes it a compelling watch. That, and the fact that it does have some frightening touches.

It helps that there’s some real filmmaking talent here and the lead actor is very strong too. It’s a short that grabs the attention and then holds it. Well worth a watch!
